Size and Appearance

The Toto C100 and Toto C200 are both models of electronic bidets combined with toilet seats for ease and to save space. Both the Toto C100 and the Toto C200 comes in two colors; cotton white and Sedona beige. There are two shapes that these come in as well; elongated and round.

The Toto C100 has a remote attached to the side of the seat for easy control. The Toto C200, on the other hand, doesn’t have this feature. Instead, the Toto C200 has a remote control. This remote control is small, silver, and easy to use. This gives the Toto C200 washlet a more modern look than the C100 model.

Performance

Many of the customers who bought either of these Toto products were impressed and pleased by the performance of their product. They offer more options than some other bidets, such as the choice of temperature of the water, dryer, and the seat itself. Many customers also appreciated the remote control with the Toto C200 to replace the attached controls on the Toto C100. This made it easier to use and reduced the bulkiness of the seat.

The Toto C200 did outperform the Toto C100. This is mainly because it offered more choices to customers to allow them to customize their experience. Some customers did complain of the eco-friendly settings because it usually only used cold water to save energy, making it uncomfortable for users. With the eco-friendly settings turned off, this problem dissolves and the warm water will turn back on.

Cleaning

These toilet seats go slightly beyond what the average ones do and have some features that will help you keep them clean. For one, to help with any odors, these seats also have an automatic air deodorizer. You will clean these seats just like you would clean a regular toilet seats, with regular toilet cleaner and a brush. However, these seats also have a quick-release so you can clean them more effectively than a standard seat.

Durability

There were very few customers who complained of either of these units breaking down prematurely. In fact, most customers said that even after quite a while of use they didn’t show any signs of wear and tear or breakdowns in technology. It also won’t begin to leak over time, so you don’t have to worry about water damage to your floors.

This, next, begs the question of the durability of the remote of the Toto C200. Fortunately, this also won’t begin to break down after a short period, so you won’t lose control of the settings on your bidet.

Accessories

Only the Toto C200 comes with an accessory in the form of a remote control. This replaced the earlier Toto C100’s control that was located on the side of the seat, sticking out slightly. This remote makes the seat design look far more modern and organized. It probably also makes the toilet a little more hygienic.

Convenient Features

Both these Toto models have a wide array of features that help make them even more useful. First, the temperature of each the water, seat, and air dryer can be controlled on both these models. There are 5 temperature settings on the Toto C200, so everyone can find one that works for them.

The Toto C100 has slightly less, with 3 temperatures to choose from. They also both have an air deodorizer, so any unpleasant smells are eliminated before they cause a problem. Each model also sprays a pre-mist on the bowl to prevent streaks and stains.

The Toto C200 has some extra features by comparison to the Toto C100. For one, the Toto C200 features a pulsating cleanse as to offer a more thorough and pleasant cleaning. In addition, the Toto C200 works by remote rather than a control on the side, which is not only nicer looking, but easier to maneuver as well.

Warranty

The warranty for these products are rather important, since they are more technological than some of Toto’s regular toilet seats. Both the Toto C100 and Toto C200 bidets are protected by a 1-year limited warranty. This warranty will cover any damages or defects caused by faulty manufacturing. This won’t, however, cover any damage caused by improper use or regular wear and tear.

Pros and Cons

Each of these bidets offer the user a wide range of options on the temperature and – for the Toto C200 – the water pressure on these seats. This sort of choice in experience is one of the things that customers love most about these products. The Toto C200 offers more options in this sense with 5 temperatures to choose from and the option of a pulsating cleanse.

The Toto C100, though, doesn’t slack off, though, with 3 temperature settings for the user to pick from.  They also both come in round and elongated designs in two different colors, so you can match them to your current toilet rather than having to replace the whole system. Neither is unreasonably priced for the features they offer, although the Toto C200 is slightly more budget-friendly.

However, of course, these products aren’t perfect. The main complaint of these systems is the installation. This is because they are a Japanese products, meaning the measurements are metric.

Metric units are especially difficult for American customers who use inches. They usually require special, difficult to find parts or purchasing the product with installation, which, naturally, raises the price of the product. Most customers don’t experience any issues that can’t be alleviated however.
