Toto B100 Bidet Toilet Seat

In appearance, the Toto B100 and Toto C100 are nearly identical. These bidets fit on a toilet like a regular toilet seat would – save the fact that they need to be plugged in to work. They both come in two sizes; one for elongated toilets and one for round toilets. This allows each of them to fit almost any toilet that customers may own, so they can install the bidet without having to replace their whole toilet.

These two models are slightly bulkier than some of Toto’s other versions because the controls protrude out of the side of the seat on a small arm. This arm is where the look of these bidets varies from each other ever so slightly. The controller on the Toto C100 is a rectangle that is entirely white with black outlines on the buttons. The Toto B100’s controller is slightly more rounded than the Toto C100 and the controller features a yellow button as well.

Performance

Most of the customers who use either the Toto B100 or the Toto C100 found these products to perform well and last a long time. First of all, customers found these seats incredibly comfortable. This both refers to how comfortable the seat is to sit on and how comfortable it is to use – even for first time users. These are made even more comfortable by settings to change water pressure, water heat, and heated seats.

There are some features that the Toto C100 has that consumers wanted that the Toto B100 lacks. You can simply clean these, though, with a damp, soft rag but make sure to ring out the excess water. Once you’re done, just plug the bidet back in so it is ready for its next use. Both these washlets also have a self-cleaning feature that runs before and after each use. The Toto C100 also has a pre-mist to help with streaking in the toilet bowl itself.

Both the Toto B100 and the Toto C100 were found to be incredibly durable by many customers who tried one or the other. This is important, since not only are these washlets a bit of an investment and take time to install, but you use them so often as well. You wouldn’t want this to break mid-use so you can avoid an awkward situation.

Those customers who did have issues with their product said that they sent it to Toto for repairs and when it was returned it was as good as new. However, if these damages occur after the warranty there will be a fee for this service.

Convenient Features

Toto adds many different features to their products to make them as helpful as possible for their customers and the Toto B100 and Toto C100 are no different. The first convenient thing about these two products shows before you even purchase it. It comes in two different sizes – both round and elongated – so it will fit your toilet no matter what the size. There are also a couple different settings to control the heat of the seat and the water. For the Toto C100, you can also control the temperature of the air dryer as well. You can also adjust water pressure as well to keep your experience comfortable.

On both the Toto B100 and the Toto C100, these settings and features are controlled by a controller protruding from the side. While this controller isn’t liked by everyone since it makes the seat wider, it is easily accessible and can’t get lost.

Warranty

Toto offers a 1-year limited warranty on most of their products, the Toto B100 and Toto C100 included. This means that if either one of these products breaks within the one year of purchasing the product, then Toto will cover it. However, if this damage happens due to use for something other than Toto originally intended, then you won’t be covered for the damages.

Pros and Cons

Both the Toto B100 and Toto C100 have many good features that lots of customers appreciate. But there are some not-so-good things that you should consider before you buy one of them.

As for the good. Firstly, both have multiple settings to personalize your experience. Not only can you control the heat of your seat, but the heat of your water as well. The Toto C100 also has an air dryer, which can be adjusted as well. The Toto C100 also has an air deodorizer to help with any unpleasant smells. Between these two models, the Toto C100 is more budget friendly (but this can change depending on a sale, when/where you purchase).

Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks – especially the Toto B100. For a washlet that has less features, the Toto B100 is far less budget friendly. It lacks – most notably – the air deodorizer and the air dryer that the Toto C100 has. There is a possible drawback to both these models, although a few customers found it desirable. This is the fact that the control panel is on the side of the unit itself, instead of a remote, making these models slightly bulkier.
