The steamers takes a really small amount time to get ready for use and can be continuously used for a long time. The automatic turn off feature, when the water runs out helps in saving on your electricity. But it is also a fantastic safety feature that will ensure you don’t burn the house down if you forget that it is on. Some users did complain about the retractable cord only to later surmise that it was a user made mistake. You will need to be careful to avoid tangles in the cord.
