Reliable car seats are an important part in protecting the safety of your child. First up is the more basic car seat of the two; the Graco Extend2Fit. This model comes in many different color schemes. A few different examples include black and gray; pink, black, and cream; and black, gray, light blue, and white. This car seat can be positioned to face forward or backward in the seat. It also features an extra 5 inches of leg room so your child can grow with it, without being uncomfortable.

The next model is the Graco Extend2Fit 3 in 1. This model comes in only two color combinations. You can purchase it in black and light gray or black, gray, and lavender. This car seat can also be faced forward or backward, but it can hold more weight than the Graco Extend2Fit. Like the Graco Extend2Fit, the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 has an extra 5 inches of leg room for your child.

Performance

Many parents who invested their money in these car seats weren’t disappointed. The first thing they noticed was how easy these car seats were to install. The Graco Extend2Fit 3 in 1 is made for rear-facing infants, forward-facing toddlers, and slightly older children as well. The weights of the rear-facing and forward-facing toddlers are the same as the Graco Extend2Fit. For older children, though, they should be between 30 and 100 pounds. Much like the Graco Extend2Fit, the Graco Extend2Fit 3 in 1 has the same extra leg room and adjustable headrest.

Durability

When you are shopping for a car seat, durability is an important factor. The last things parents want is to check on their child on a long car ride and realize that their car seat is broken. Luckily, Graco puts a lot of care into their car seats and not only will they last for your child’s time needing it, but probably longer.

In addition to being durable, these car seats will evolve with your child adding to their longevity. Since they will last through your child’s toddler years – or, for the Graco Extend2Fit 3 in 1, a little longer – this is important. They may even last through your next child’s time in a car seat as well.

Convenient Features

The first thing that is convenient with these car seats is rather obvious. They are rather budget-friendly, thanks to their durability and versatility. The Graco Extend2Fit can adapt to fit both infants and toddlers so parents don’t have to buy two car seats. The Graco Exten2Fit 3 in 1 takes it a step further, though, and will fit infants, toddlers, and bigger kids as well.

Both these car seats feature several characteristics that make using it a little easier. Each one offers a 4-position extendable panel that can provide up to 5” of extra leg room for your growing little one. To cater even more to growing children, they also added a 10-position headrest. A 6-position recline is possible on both car seats, so it can be positioned to sit up for big kids or at a recline for infants. There are also dual cup holders to keep your child’s drink in on each model.

Warranty

All Graco products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. This means that from your date of purchase, these car seats are both protected in case of any mistakes in manufacturing. However, if they break for reasons other than defects in manufacturing or if they are used improperly then it won’t be covered by the warranty.

Pros and Cons

These car seats are incredibly safe as well as comfortable for the child in them. Many parents who have bought either of these car seats swear by them, and for good reason. They also found them budget friendly for how versatile they were. The Graco Extend2Fit 3 in 1 is especially useful for growing children since it will seat them from infancy until they reach 100 pounds.

There were downsides to the products, though. For both, many parents found the straps on the harness were difficult to adjust. The Graco Extend2Fit won’t, of course, seat children for as long as the Graco Extend2Fit 3 in 1 will. On the other hand, though, the Graco Extend2Fit 3 in 1 isn’t as budget friendly as the Graco Extend2Fit.
