Each product has their own set of features and capabilities that make them unique to one another including overall quality. The ratings and reviews would indicate that both of these paint sprayers are appreciated by their customers (but you may want to look at the reviews for yourself to determine for yourself). Wagner comes equipped with a Ispray Nozzle to ensure paint remains undiluted, detail finish nozzle for smaller projects, XBoost power dial with 9 adjustable settings, material flow control allowing an adjustable flow rate for coating speed, a 1 and ½ quart cup container, a black carrying case, spray width leveler, pattern adjust ring. This is quite the bang for the buck and customers were pleased that it came with its own carrying and storage case.
Graco has narrow (4 inches) and wide (12 inches) spray tips as well. The most inviting feature about this product is its 360 degree design, allowing less effort for hard to reach places. A major difference in this sprayer compared to Wagner is that it does not use containers, instead it comes with Flexliner bags that offer disposable use. This makes cleaning up much easier without having to clean out the container when finished and/or changing paint colors. The bags can be washed and reused if desired but the bags are available for separate purchase after the initial two (32 ounces) bags gifted in the original packaging. This also means there is no suction tube to adjust and re-clean.
Customers also stated the importance of properly lining these liners up with the base in order to have the best performance and least amount of leaks and spills. Wagner cups sit snug on the sprayer and do not need any adjustments. They just need to be removed and cleaned with warm soapy water before putting new color(s) in. The sprayers both accommodate pattern adjusters and contain a main cord for electrical input. Graco has a battery operated option available as well for added mobility although a few customers complained of its longevity and errors when transitioning between the electrical and battery operated use.

Getting the Job Done
Both of these products are capable of performing small interior/exterior and precision painting, including walls, edges, and corners. You would just need to adjust the nozzle spray tips to best suit the particular painting job. You don’t need to thin the paint when using these products either and they both have adjustable spray nozzles, narrow and wide, to ensure the best optimal paint job. Graco has a maximum PSI of 1500 and operates on a fixed speed. There is only ONE speed on this sprayer and it cannot be adjusted while the Wagner has various speeds with its XBoost Power Dial feature.
The Wagner is not compatible with Latex paint and Graco is so be sure to check which paint you will need to use before purchasing any paint sprayer. Wagner offers various videos, tips and tricks to painting and product usage available on their website. This is a great feature if you are a beginner or confused about anything about the product/job without having to search around too much or sit on the phone with automated messages for an hour!

That presents an honest and favorable brand. Wagner also offers tutorial videos about usage, installation, and tips and tricks on their manufacturing page and YouTube. Similar videos can be found about Graco but these are more limited to YouTube and customer uploads. There isn’t much information circulating Graco’s product while Wenger is in abundance.

Summary
Overall, from a quality, durability, and materials standpoint, Graco seems to be the better made product. Some customers complained about the competitor, Wagner as being made “cheaply”. That is a matter of opinion within each consumer however. Wagner is more lightweight and compact which may stir thoughts of a cheaper quality product.
The price range for these two products is about the same (if you are still on the fence, it is wise to check the prices before you buy as this might sway you completely). Wagner is said to be 50% quieter and 20% lighter than competitive brands but Graco has a 360 head that makes it easier to get into harder to reach places.
Lots of customers complained of over spraying with both products but more so with Graco based on the feedback I’ve come across. This is usually typical in a paint sprayer but with the adjustable speeds offered by Wagner it could reduce that amount with a lower setting. Other complaints surrounding Graco was that it, “spitpaint out” and creates a larger mess than rolling essentially defeating the easy disposable linear incentive, based on customer opinions and reviews. These are both great products given their capabilities and would be most suitable for small jobs and beginners. If I were choosing as I like the FlexLiner bags, various speeds, and available training videos.
